Call it Divine Intervention, but Pope Francis was the original inspiration for our product - FLYTES!
Back In 2014, our founder Belinda, had 250 people at the Vatican for a special event with Pope Francis. To get her group noticed in the million+ crowd, Belinda designed a custom flag for everyone to carry. Many in the crowd tried buying the flags from those who were waving them. The flags proved so popular, they were even featured on Italian television!
Seeing how well her custom flags worked at the Vatican, Belinda started to create custom flags for all of her traveling groups. Positive feedback started pouring in from both attendees and event organizers...

So in 2015 FLYTES were conceived ; and the worldwide patents were filed. The multi-use, crowd-friendly FLYTE was born out of necessity! Based on that initial feedback, the custom flag evolved into a FLYTE. We lost the stick, and gained toggles plus loops and open seams... allowing it to be used in a multitude of ways.
When Pope Francis came to Philadelphia in late 2015, 1000’s of people were waving their FLYTES.

FLYTES don't require a stick - they can be waved, and worn, and tied in many different ways – using the toggles and loops. FLYTES have an open seam across the top and along the side for a dowel rod, allowing them to be hung on the wall or flown as a traditional flag.
